How to bless my ring?

a friend of mine is very into the whole spiritual thing.. she has a ring and it's "blessed" to protect her from dark spirits or evil things.. i was wondering how i could bless my ring? she also carries a small bag of cinnamon and a small bag of sage. i guess that does the same. but anyways yea i was wondering how i could bless my ring. please help, it'd be much appreciated (:
